The Wandering Mawr(ter)

the thoughts, travels, ideas, and life of a Bryn Mawr College Senior.

About Me

Hello there.

Whoever you are, since you found your way here, I assume you’d like to know a little more about who on Earth is writing this blog.  I’ll do my best to ease your curiosity. My full name is Lillie Estelle Williams, but for some odd reason I like to drop the ‘Williams’ and simply go by Lillie Estelle. It has a bit more of a ring to it I think.

Beyond the name, I’m a senior English major at Bryn Mawr College. I studied abroad my junior year and still haven’t managed to get over that yet. I enjoy writing poetry, traveling, reading, and playing with new technology in my free time. (My favorite new toy is my Ipad 2.)

Currently, I’m working as an assistant for the Moodle Transition. If you don’t know yet, Moodle is the course management system that is replacing Blackboard at Bryn Mawr. Personally, I love Moodle and think that if Blackboard and Moodle were in any kind of competition Moodle would not only win, but Blackboard would forfeit before they even got started. Maybe that’s an exaggeration, but I do really like Moodle. I spent my summer working on it and I can probably answer any questions you might have about that.

That’s the brief biography on the back page of my book for now!
